Fraxel® is a 1550 nm wavelength laser device that has become a standard of minimally invasive laser resurfacing. ResurFX has newer technology resulting in a 1565 nm wavelength laser device with several advantages that set it apart. Treatment is conducted with usually a single pass over the treated area, unlike the 6-8 passes required by Fraxel®, which may increase the level of patient comfort.
